Looking really good mate, have you tried out a set of carbon/black tail lights.? I know the options for tail lights arnt great on a mx, would be good if you could get a set old set and pull off lense then colour code inside same as body work and then re-install lense perhaps ?.
What do you have left on the to do list ?

Hiya, garfy I have 2 sets of lights because they are crap and keep filling with water, I have now swapped over to the black set now due to recent flooding in the lense.
I have another pair of taillights that are all bust up so I am going to strip them down and fibreglass them up smooth so you only have the visible lights left and see what they look colour coded and flush fitting to the carI am just trying to get a design made for a full vinyl wrap for the car that I hope will look stonking and its a design I saw on pimp my ride years ago that stuck n my mind and have never seen it in the uk since
BBS alloys still to be rubbered and fitted
rear arches to be rolled and some 15mm wheel spacers fitted all round
and currently looking for someone good with electronics and engineering to fabricate something for me involving a mazdaspeed part to go onto the car, it seems quite simple on paper but i can see it will be a ball ache to get done

Brand new tyres from the wife for christmas so the wheels are on an pretty happy with them :cheers:

couple of pics from a cruise the other night, Extreme modified magazine were all over the car there and they took a lot of pictures so keep your eyes peeled on that magazine in the new year :bigok:
heres some pics from the last cruise and I am off to the largest one of the year tonight in southampton with over 1000 cars for last year and we have a convoy of over 100 going in our little group so should be a good one :respect:Couple of pro pics

Thats the colour I want but unfortunately I have almost commited a wad of cash to getting tyhe body fully done in the next few months

Anyway, ive been a bit quiet on the MX-3 this winter, spent a heap on the mx-5 and she is running lovely now and cant wait to drive her down to italy in june :bigok:
Havent really bought anything over christmas for the mex, I have been saving my pennies for a full vinyl wrap, this will be the last big thing until I get a larger exhaust sorted and finally find a lightened flywheel and thtas pretty much the project end and then I am going to enjoy her all summer as she has been parked up all winter except for sundays and meets that I go to locally.
cant wait for the wrap as its really going to make the car stand out even more, the other club I am part of will have the MX-3 front row for a number of modified car shows this year as hashiriya is all about having something different to the normal.
I will be having some decals for the club done and trying to get people to buy some MX-3's to keep this group alive in the UK.
Also with some new contacts in the car scene I have made over the past few months I will be having a feature done on the ZE in a car magazine after I have had the vinyl wrap so will keep you posted on that and it will be having a pro photo shoot hopefully april time after wrapping too:D

I have bought and sold my way to a £1500 Modding budget since christmas so I have some massive changes on the way and half the reason ive been quiet on here,
First mod, this thursday is wheel arches are being rolled so she can go lower if required
next week is MOT time so I know its having new ball joints for that but thats not part of the modding budget
After the MOT I will be removing my indicators and side lights from the mazdaspeed bumper and filling / smoothing them out while I relocate the indicators elsewhere ( you will see what I have done once completed )
then she is off for 2 weeks for work to be done professionally
then I will reveal her at national modifieds in May
