got these for a bargain at the weekend, then off to paint shop this weekend for the centers to be greened up like the rest of the car, then its off for new tyres in a few weeks

Nice reps man, buddy of mine has a similar set on his 8. Slightly off topic but do the centres in that pic look like they are 'wobbling' on any one else's screen?!

Thanks, they are BBS just not splts as they are too pricey but got them at a very good price, going to get a brand new set of tyres for them soon after I have had the centers repainted to match the car Im tempted t go noble green but we might experiment and just put a candy lacquer over the silver base coat

Also cars in for window tinting saturday so thats another item ticked off the list :bigok:

Sorry to break it to you mate but I don't think are made by BBS! Thats RS 'style' made to look like splits.

Well if they are not split rims then they are copies as BBS doesn't make imitation looking ones I'm afraid.

Think the head gasket has finally shit itself, got stuck in tesco's friday as its seems to hydraulic when the engine is hot
Hydraulic = the hot water from the cooling system is expanding into a cylinder through the head gasket forcing the engine not to turn over due to cylinder pressure, its just a theory as its done a load of water again and it will fire after 2 very slow turns of the engine only when its hot thoughHurry up barrywhite and return my head set please !!!!
really didnt want this over the winter as I have a ford 1600 OHV engine to slowly rebuild on a jet boat I purchased recently

That is the problem with engine conversion's sometimes they just don't wanna run right once you take them out donor vehicle, its just gremlins though Bruv Im sure you will get them sorted once and forever eventually.

Looking really good mate, have you tried out a set of carbon/black tail lights.? I know the options for tail lights arnt great on a mx, would be good if you could get a set old set and pull off lense then colour code inside same as body work and then re-install lense perhaps ?.
What do you have left on the to do list ?

Hiya, garfy I have 2 sets of lights because they are crap and keep filling with water, I have now swapped over to the black set now due to recent flooding in the lense.
I have another pair of taillights that are all bust up so I am going to strip them down and fibreglass them up smooth so you only have the visible lights left and see what they look colour coded and flush fitting to the carI am just trying to get a design made for a full vinyl wrap for the car that I hope will look stonking and its a design I saw on pimp my ride years ago that stuck n my mind and have never seen it in the uk since
BBS alloys still to be rubbered and fitted
rear arches to be rolled and some 15mm wheel spacers fitted all round
and currently looking for someone good with electronics and engineering to fabricate something for me involving a mazdaspeed part to go onto the car, it seems quite simple on paper but i can see it will be a ball ache to get done

Brand new tyres from the wife for christmas so the wheels are on an pretty happy with them :cheers:

couple of pics from a cruise the other night, Extreme modified magazine were all over the car there and they took a lot of pictures so keep your eyes peeled on that magazine in the new year :bigok:
heres some pics from the last cruise and I am off to the largest one of the year tonight in southampton with over 1000 cars for last year and we have a convoy of over 100 going in our little group so should be a good one :respect:Couple of pro pics
