Been a busy bee with both cars this week, got the K-sports coilovers in and I was very surprised at how soft they are, not much different to the apex springs I had on.
She is set up at -65mm height at the moment as she just gets over most speed bumps in my travels but no longer able to go to the car boot sale in it due to those awful 1 way spring loaded metal road flaps
Thinking maybe some spaces soon to get the wheels out a bit but now love the way she sits with those coileys onGot quite a lot of attention at the recent Jap show i went to last weekend and the MX-5 went too and that got huge amounts of attention and photos all due to the £70 of stickers I put on the bonnet, little things please …... lol

Been working all weekend and took the car down to work for the paint bloke to touch a couple thin patches on the skirts and was easier to do on the car
It rolled out the sprayshop lunchtime saturday and I have noticed with everything on it that it does get a lot of attention now but was shocked with some great offers that have come in from other businesses in our yard
The spray company has offered me for £1000 in cash a full same colour respray with all dents filled and removed and the body crease from front to back both sides filled and removed, arches widened and smoothed in on the rear a little by 25mm and if I come up with a design for the sides they will also spray in a snakeskin shadow effect in the paint for whatever design I choose. I can have writing or a pattern that will be sprayed into the basecoat then it will be lacquered over so its completely smooth and you will only be able to see it at angles to the light, he is also going to use a special lacquer on the lights all round so they are the same colour as the car in the day but work fine a night
I unfortunately have accepted their offer and now desperately going to sell a heap of gear to pay for it :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:the other bobby dazzler is the laminating company has offered to do some special carbon stuff on the car for cost price for a photoshoot for promotional work, I have had to think about this as its crazy expensive I can have the full roof including sunroof in carbon fibre, the MS rear spoiler in carbon and any other small part carbonised. He has offered to look at the mould of the garnish too and may come back with a price for a run of 20 of these in genuine carbon so will keep you posted on that :bigok:

Your KSports are soft? Mine are solid as fuck and that's with the adj dampening right in the middle.

I wound the dampeners right off and its not that much different to my lowering springs which did surprise me as when you try to bounce the car by hand it doesnt move but I am pleasantly surprised :D

Lol yea it surprised a lot of folk when they couldn't bounce it by hand! Anyway, car is looking fab!

Car is looking great Keith but I still think you need a fox style grill.
everything is looking extremely tasteful and I love the expensive mazdaspeed parts and the white wheels. But think the grill needs to come into the same league as the rest of the car. The carbon fibre work sounds
Insane but you'd have to have an endless pot of cash!.
Keep up the good work. I wish I had as many updates as yours!.

Thanks all, I like the green grill as its becoming a theme under the bonnet and outside, was thinking of getting some green alloys on her to match plus the green grill catches peoples attention as i drive towards them and then they get the roar at the back for dessert lmfao
I do want clear repeaters gulfy but have been thinking that if I do go for the full paint job with tinted glass then I will probably remove the repeaters on the sides and replace with something very small in a different location :cheers:

Quick update
got these for a bargain at the weekend, then off to paint shop this weekend for the centers to be greened up like the rest of the car, then its off for new tyres in a few weeks
