DJMARCOPOLO'S - The GREEN RIVET
-
Im not running out that quick lol, I have a full rebush on the list yet and a heap of interior work to do yet but that one is a biggy out the way
-
What parts are you gonna use for a re bush ?
Probestrore updates or just Mazda oems?
-
Is that the MX6 SS ehaust manifold you picked up off Ebay bud?
Might do the same while the engine is out to save time later, what do you think?
-
I may have a look at probestore ones but if costs go to high then probably oem and get a rear strut in there
Lori they were the cheapies from ebay but I have had them reshaped a little, rewelded and the welded joints sharpened inside for better flow, 10hours of work in those to make them perfect as the guys from RAW worked some race magic on them, you cant see the rear joint thats been removed and raised so it has plenty of clearance from the steering rack plus I no longer have the EGR valve drawing hot air into the inlet manifold
Probably worth more than the frigging car now :imout:
-
More goodies fitted with more to come soon
Instead of just ftting MS spoiler I had a full JDM tailgate painted and found that when I plugged the lights back in the high level brake light works perfectly with no extra wiring
rear bumper is next to go JDM so those stickers will be gone ( like the tailgate lock ) and just left with my japanese mazda badge on the rear, I am also having the join line on the bumper filled so it will be flat all the way down
-
Where did you get the ebil looking Mazda Badge? and that does look a sweet ride..
-
hahaha my secret with the badge, I have a matt black one for the bonnet too :bigok:
Shes getting there, bit more work yet :bigok:
-
Just looking sick as F*** there mate, well done. :respect:
-
Lookin' good man, good work. Not a fan of the oversized modified mazda badge, it is different looking tho!
-
Jayom, the badge will look better once the JDM rear bumper is on and theres no stickers on the back
Today got another great delivery, this MX has been spoilt the past 2 months and now have to sell some junk to pay for holiday next month but its gonna be worth it soon, Next job after this lot is arches rolled and some green deep dishes to match the rest
-
Oh yeah 8) That will look serious with the right stance now. Loving the green dishu idea.
-
Hubba hubba :)

Welcome to the world of booby jiggling suspension :D

-
What wheels you looking at?
-
been looking at Borbet A's and these that arent that deep but are already green to save some money
-
you probably won't need an arch roll with them either.
-
COOL SAVES SOME DOLLARS

Been a busy bee with both cars this week, got the K-sports coilovers in and I was very surprised at how soft they are, not much different to the apex springs I had on.
She is set up at -65mm height at the moment as she just gets over most speed bumps in my travels but no longer able to go to the car boot sale in it due to those awful 1 way spring loaded metal road flaps
Thinking maybe some spaces soon to get the wheels out a bit but now love the way she sits with those coileys onGot quite a lot of attention at the recent Jap show i went to last weekend and the MX-5 went too and that got huge amounts of attention and photos all due to the £70 of stickers I put on the bonnet, little things please …... lol
heres a couple of pics anyways

looking good dj
