Shocks

yay!
id love to buy them but a lil too expensive for me, so im just going to get the bog standard ones :)
-
I'd let them go for £260 delivered, so 65 a corner. They are a really high quality shock, so they are there if you can't find standard ones cheaper! I'm sure you will tho lol.
-
haha thanks :) but its only the back 2 shocks i need…so if you fancy splitting them then maybe we could sort something out
-
Price above edited! Don't think I'll split them, but ya never know, I might get desperate
-
sorry to be a pest everyone :) just want to double check…are 1.8 shocks different to 1.6 shocks?
-
Not believe me?
An example of a set on ebay
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-MX3-1-6-1-8-SHOCK-ABSORBER-FRONT-REAR-GAS-X-4-/320641371176
Fits all models ;)
-
LOL!! I cant afford it mate. I have to pay for a mechanic to do most of the work on the car..and thats 100 to fit just 2 rear shocks :(
Theres so many other bits i need too. Thankfully I can spray a car and reupholster the seats.
-
Ha, no man I was just using that as an example of them being the same for both models.
-
£260 delivered on his shocks is really good fraggle
I payed £250 for new shocks for mine at trade price the biggest cost is dismantling the shocks once there off to put your old coil spring and top mount on removing has the chance of breaking them so your mechanic if he isn't a friend can have a field day with you saying they broke when removed costing you more
Buying his pre made is an easy swap for a ameture mechanic mechanic this way you get new shocks all round and lowered at the same time what is a bonus
If you were closer to Edinburgh I'd fit them for you
-
Aww thanks…but I cant afford them..plus i only need 1 rear...but im replacing both rears. ooooerrrr :respect:
Ive brought some shocks now...next step is probably drive shaft...
Luckily my mechanic is old school and loves to work on the older car phew! lol
