Does the cat have a lamba sensor in it as i am thinking of removing it?
-
depends on year ?, im not sure 100 percent of obd2 models have this.
Have a look at obd in f&q section if your unsure if you have obd1 or 2.
The 1 definately doesnt, so remove away !.

Lambada's are normally Pre or Post Cat. So it doesnt normally matter. You need a Lambada to run properly!

The mx only has O2 sensors on the exhaust manifolds no lamba, thats on my m reg.

O2/Lambda, the same thing, they are before the cat in the downpipes and you can't remove them unless you want the car to run badly and fail the MOT.
Maybe you are suggesting removing the cat, this will likely fail the MOT too.

My friend told me that some times the cat has a lamba sensor in it so therefore would not be able to remove the cat itself, but if they are on the down pipes then i will remove cat, and then replace for mot.
Thanks for help guys much appreciated.

The only problems you find are on the Jap imports some have a heat sensor fitted into the cat otherwise swap away
