Fuel filter - where is it and is it easy to change

I'm guessing that it has never been changed in its 13 year life and as I was doing the air filter, decided to have a look and I cant find it.
Any ideas please?

its above the gear box and under the throttle body as for changing it its not too bad i think you will need to remove the air pipe to get to it

It looks like this
and it is down in that small gap to the left of the battery, you will need to remove the air pipe (carefully) to get to it

Hi, do you need to depressurise the fuel line?

I'd recommend it.
Lift up the back seat, under the liner is the connector to the fuel pump in the middle.
Unplug it.
Start the car
Engine will die as the fuel de pressurises.When taking off the hose, wrap a cloth round it for the last yank. I find they come of easiest after twisting the hose to break the seal.

Cheers thanks mate, some people said about it but wasn't sure where the fuel pump switch was.
I had a go but couldn't get the piping off as there's no room to move in there, so I'll give your technique a go next time!

No problem! Definitely unbolt it from the gearbox or the bolt that holds the clamp on and slide out.

That would of definitely made it easier!
