Best way?

Having a thought about the front arches.
Now, my car has been lowered 40mm and the rear looks fine (not quite low enough for my liking, but hey, that will come over time), the fronts still look like gaping chasms with 15's so if I wanted to drop it more I think this would be amplified even more. has anyone got any thoughts on making the gap look smaller (without going for stupid ghey big rims? 16's at the most for me all the time).
-
increase the tyre profile?
-
Get hydraulics!!! ah ha!!!
But other than stated above, the only way to decrease the gap would be to stick some sort of arch extension on where you could physically alter the size of the arch!!
In short, it aint gonna happen!
-
think jay still has re firb hydralics for sale if you wanted them!
-
I don't think hydraulics is the answer….... For one they are heavy, two they don't actually do anything to the arches and three, just no.
-
that would be jay1987 not me lol

this will cause massive up roar but…..............
cut the springs, seen it done a couple of times and even tho its frowned about both cars struck solid to the road!, both cases were chopped lowering springs.

This.
What size are the tyres on it? I'm running 205/55/15 and when I fitted my -40mm lowering springs it looked pretty darn low! I'd post a pic but they're off the car for powdercoating.

was going to post this up to, main concern is MOT
time when they jack the car up if the springs fall down
then its a fail….

There are better ways than just cut them
You could cut them in identical places then use oxy acetaline and heat the spring end and flatten it so it gives a good base on the spring mount
or try these

They look about as safe as removing my airbag and driving head on into a brick wall at 60!
-
the only other way is going to a 16" with 55 side wall tyres

My sentiments exactly

For the love of god dont buy the hydraulics! lol
I promise you you will not want to ever drive your car again! lol
I'd up the wheels size to 16's, and fit a higher profile tyre…
