I'm after some flat 12v lights, less then .2CM high for a mod idea.
Anyone know of anything like this?

I do I do… what kind of flat do you mean..? my mate buys a sort of led strip (in various colours) that looks like this:
from Tokyo I think… cheap as peanuts... want me to track down where he gets them from..?
or aren't they what you are after...?

What there fore is this:
The Eunos steel kick plates, I was going to cut the indented "Eunos" out, cover over with some clear plastic (or color) and have the flat LED's under them so they light up when I open the door.
Much like the higher end GM cars these days.
There a little too big to make it work but I have come up with an idea.
Under the kick plates are holes in the chasis, I've wiring something up down there and securing it down, so far it looks like it's working just need a few refinements.

Nah nah! have an even better idea!!!!!
these are ultra low profile led strips… $6 AUS incl postage from hong kong! they throw an unbelieveable amount of light!!! they are awesome!!!
you get them from e-bay
fully waterproof, shockproof kidproof, idiot proof.. they even come with sticky backing and you don't need a transformer! they are plug in and play

Any chance you could post the link for these?

Hiya, if you search ebay you can find these, they make them will virtually any 12v fitting from side light to brake light and they are flat led bulbs but you need a bulb holder, if you want the things that -eunos- is on about they are here, £1.68 incP&P per strip of 30
