AFFORDABLE MX3 SPARES FROM ABROAD

I keep seeing posts for parts available for MX's but not one dedicated to cheap parts, I have bought a few items from china + america that seem to have sensible postage for parts., I have found buying parts from Ebay.com in america that are sold from china end up saving you about 50% or more than buying it from here direct, just due different exchange rates.

I think the rear wheel bearing kits are a bargain, the cheapest I can find in the uk is about £45 each so 2 for under £50 is a bargain, also the prices vary with the exchange rate and at the moment its quite good

The Clips can be found in Helfruds for cheeper tbh.

Or A local company to me does them in blister packs for 99p for 4-6 depending on size.

There are loads more parts on there that can work out cheaper than buying from here and a lot of stuff unavailable in the UK, I will keep posting any unusual stuff in here and maybe other people will join in

If you can get a mould made of a bonnet then to get carbon bonnets made here can be extremely cheap, I work in a boatyard and deal with carbon a lot, its the labour of making the mould that bumps the cash up, if I get a spare bonnet and get the time to make a mould I could pump a few out on the sly :wink:

or do it yourself for under £50 with carbon fibre vinyl, I recommend buying it then getting a professional graphics sign makers company to stick it on for you as the shape of the bonnet makes it tricky. The MX3 bonnet is 1.2m x 1.3m so you will do all of it in one sheet. I did it myself, it took 4 hours and I have 3 noticeable lines in one corner other than that no-one can tell the difference really
