40mm drop
-
Just wondering if anyone has a picture of a 40mm on 55 profile tyres. The car is going in to be lowered in a few weeks and i just want to see what sort of ride hide i will be getting from it. Basically i want my car low :)

I'm also interested in this.

check out some of the projects, but if you want it super-low you will have to get coilovers
-
Coilovers yes, I've got k sports but in order for my car to be really low, i had to change rear springs from 10" in length to 7" in length, car is proper low, can't even get a jack under it now LOL

The K sports build quaility is good, like I said the only issue i had with them was the rear springs rubbing the inside tyres, now I have sorted that with shorter springs, the k sports are alot firmer, had lowered springs on before that, as for handling, car is currently sorned, so I have not driven it properly yet, hopefully doing a track day in just under 2 weeks, so I will find out what they are like then, will keep everyone posted on that

Hi, this is my car recently dropped -35mm on Avo springs with 55 profile tyres, the ride is good and not bouncy or crashy but nice and firmed up, there is still a huge gap so im going for Ksport coilovers next year as I got to be low :D
-
and hears a side on with 45 mm springs
45 was to low shocks botom out was nasty
-
cheers for the pics guys. That 35mm drop looks like what mine is already.

Here's how low you can go with k sports (had to change the rear springs to 7" from 10" though), I am running 205/55/15's
Sorry for bad picture quality, must have had camera on wrong bloody setting

Here is my white MEX after a 40mm drop.
Not quite as low as i wanted but its sensible and it handles really well now.
The car seems to sit nicely on the wheels now where as before it was almost as if it was stood on tip toes!
