Yes I think so, if you look at the hatch of a 1.6 there is no spoiler just a smooth piece of trim the guys from across the pond call a garnish. Any ideas :P

You want that I'd imagine. You can buy aftermarket ones for about £60 or just look about ebay breakers.

Thanks, funds are low at the moment having committed to springs and spoilers, I suppose I could go to about £20, let me know if this is reasonable. Cheers

Update: still no joy getting this garnish peice, local scrappies don,t get the mx3's very often. If there's anyone out there that wants to do a swap, my stock spoiler for their garnish peice?? that might work :(

you might find someone on mx-3.com forums that would sell you one… shipping might be a bit much though... :?

I,ve checked and shipping would be $50 to $70, which is a lot. Better I keep an eye on the scrapyards and keep appealing to the guys on the forum, I wanted the spoiler on and lowering springs fitted ready for my trip to the Goodwood festival of Speed in July. 8)

I was under the impression all RS garnishes are black… only the GS spoilers came in colors to match the car...

my scrap yard have on in the burgandy colour, but want 35 quid 4 it and its not summit u can just hide and get out with, they are a rip off, but wouldnt of thought postage would be that much as its light

I've decided that I an going to trim my spoiler ends and blend it with the new spoiler, if it works it should look good, I have seen other MX3's that appear to have done the same. If it doesn't look so good I'll just keep my eye's peeled for a garnish. You know what it's like, like the number 11 bus, none for ages then 3 come along all at once :P
