MX-3's required for induction kit fitting - Devon
-
Hi guys
I'm working to bring out MX-3 CAI induction kits again, and need a V6 and a 1.6 to work on.
I am in Exeter, Devon. Would need car for around 30 mins.
Anyone interested? Free CAI to whoever when they are ready.

What do you want to do to it?

He takes off your stock intake, makes up pipes to collect air from a cold part of the engine bay (Cold Air Intake), or down the hole towards the foglight. Makes a template, gives you the kit for free, probably plus a cone filter.
Free part, probably some extra horses (though exhaust upgrade would magnify this), more aggressive induction sound… If I was in near I'd jump on it.

Roc
Based on Marco's recommendation I can bring my 1986 1.8 v6 down to Exeter no problem. Standard lump 103k miles.

Thanks.
Had a couple offers so far, which is great.
I'll be in touch shortly.
Going to see if anyone closer comes up first, in case I need a second fitting.

Nobody local has contacted me, will give it a few days, after that I'll give you further away guys a shout.

if someone is building a CAI that goes to the foglight hole I would be interested… I was thinking of fabbing one up for actual cold air

As I posted in the other thread, these are now ready, and fit very low in the engine bay. It would simple to add a pipe to the fog light area.
