Spark plugs
-
yeah there all fine its almost like its something from the gasket
-
ahh poss and i mean poss that when the head had a new gasket it was slightly out and tightend down and bulged out into the spark plug wells mate…
had this same issue with an audi..
-
not sure if it is gasket though. what ever they are, they have loads flex i can almost get the socket past them, might try to force them in using a mallet
-
best to try a gentle approach and not snap off the plug give that a go..
if not it may come down to loosening the cam cover and check that way..
-
nope that didn't work, i've heard that you need to remove the manifold to change the rear sparks, that just seem crazy though
-
theres no need to remove the manifold at all…just use a long extension to get to them...
-
yeah i know but i cant get past those rubbery things

just had a look at my manual on cd for you, there nothing in the wells to prevent you removing the plugs..does sound like the gasket to me..
-
I bet its the rubber ring off the spark plug lead, if not that one, from an old one! Is it right at the bottom?
-
well done marko you win a cookie!
I've got one of the bastards out trying to get the other three now. gonna need some new leads i think

@1a9f0b5880=rainmaker:do all the plug leads look complete, not something missing from them, i know sounds like a stupid question..
