lol no no using 120grit wet/dry paper apparently it should flow near 880cc ;)
-
Mmmm overfueling :) unless ur running piston melting, manifold glowing boost.
be intrested to see this mate.
so ur doing the injectors, but what about the rail? its not a high flow rail so will restrict the flow :P
-
880cc :o Your duty cycle will be like 1%!
@d78250175c:so ur doing the injectors, but what about the rail? its not a high flow rail so will restrict the flow
That's what the drill is for! :P
Seriously though Rob, you must have some crazy plans for this, can't wait to see the outcome! :D
-
just some forced induction thats all!!! but first i've to find a new job as a was laid off last week!
-
Unlucky dude, hope you get a new one soon.
I'm intrigued by your huge injectors
-
i've been fascinated about compound turbocharging an engine so i'm gonna try get a spare k8 somewhere
-
There are some good production cars that used compuond charging well.
The Nissan Micra Super Turbo used a supercharger and a turbo in a compound setup to get 110bhp out of a 1 litre MA10 engine! and no LAG.
The main problem with big power in an MX-3 though will always be the front wheel drive setup. If only they were AWD or even RWD, then you could go for huge power and use it.
-
ah the oul super t's are great fun!!! i was thinkin along the lines of 35-45 psi see how long it lasts and how i could make it somewhat safe
-
-
i did the same to my headlights!!
you did a nice job!!
It looks great!!
black headlights rock. ggreetz letsch!
-
well as of saturday the mx is offically off the road :( but was an hour and a half long drive along a twisty road :D :D
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8txnHQFcLo
the plan of attack is the car will be used in Time attack club class in 2010 with the k8
-
well with the car off the road i thought i moght as well try this out,
i figure i might take the altenator off completely and mount it there ?
-
under the altanater where the ac pump is this is a populer spot if you dont have ac
-
yup, have a look at Dave24v's ford probe on MazdaMad site (click the link in my sig)
He's got his S/C mounted where James suggests, running 13psi 300+ WHP
-
Just seen where you are from mate, I used to live in Wicklow Town back in 2000.
The Gardes will love you once you've got that strapped on!
-
thats why the car was taken off the road it's had me up in court twice and enough possible points to be benned 3 times over! lol strangley i've never been done for speeding?????
-
I think you're underestimating the value of an alternator!
Go with the AC location mounting ;)
-
either that or carry a boot load of batteries
-
bit of an update bought an eaton S/c off a friend so i've been down playing around with different layouts on it and the only way it will work is if i move the oil filter housing
so i've a plate being made up to relocate the filter housing along with an oil cooler i've a box being fabbed up for the inlet/outlet i've 2 rolls of heat wrap on the way to keep things cool
-
Good man! You've actually settled on a project idea :o
