you on kl31 cams Kami? I think they're still making decent power up to 8k. But if you've kl31 heads be careful if you haven't uprated springs and retainers :!:
:shock: Barrrgh! Stay away from OEM (hehhe!) Mazda parts are well overpriced and you can get better stuff for less money from 3rd party companies. And dont use Mazda garages either (Mazda owned by Ford) the one and only time I took my 3 to a Mazda dealer they fucked it up. :evil: better to find a local garage that comes with a good recomendation from friends/family.
Example (bear in mind this was 4 years ago tho)
stock Mazda backbox (only backbox nothing else) to fix blowing exhaust 180 quid
full custom Power Flow exhaust (CAT back, and still going good 4 years later :) ) 250 quid
hey, the car started with the B6 harnes and ECU, i had to swap the injector harnes from the BP to the one from the B6, the injector harnes from the BP has more pins so the B6 harnes would not have worked, its starting, will take her out for a test drive tonight.
I guess they must be quite rare, although I picked up one recently of ebay
for £15, but it does need a crack welding up! I have seen cast manifolds from ebay.usa for around £90 new though.
regarding down pipe I plan on making my own using jetex parts, used them before and they are good quality and fairly easy to use.
Had a look at those already ;) They have a rectangular flange, were as this
323 mani I have has a very sqaure flange, guess I may have to get a gasket to find out for sure, or even make up an adaptor block if I cant find one that fits right up. ( I work in metal fab) dont really want to go this route though!
Dont worry wont being running loads of boost and will run a wideband lambda, and get someone who knows what there doing to map my emanage/ms. :)
Do these engines run a knock sensor as standard?
@d2c18be0e0=Roc:
HT leads break down after a few years, they are best replaced every 3 or 4 years or so.
:P Don't worry I've seen some on your site I'm after.
