you are correct…but I'm not sure if it's for all ECU's but when I got mine I had someone remove all the limiters (rev, mph) I also had him cut off the autofans when the car is shut off...
now you will be able to FLY lol I've gotten up to 154 mph in mine :shock: and revved over 8500 (by accident)
just make sure you don't blow it up!!! :roll:
I personally never change them as long as they are quiet running and still have good bearings. The ford ones will for as well from the 2.5L v6. If you can get them cheaper then do that. I always used my old ones though.
no, the pumps fine, its the wiring, it had been rubbing on the car shell, and the live has earthed itself, so far i've managed to trace it back, i've traced it back to the fuse box…it actually bypasses that and goes to a relay, the wiring to the high tension circuit is all fine now, the low tension on the relay that enables the high tension one isn't working....
The way a relay works is a small voltage is applied to one side, which enables an electromagnet, which in turn enables a high tension coil, its the low tension coil that is not working to enable the high tension coil :?
the relay is tested and fine
My brother has a mate that made an exhaust system for his GTO, and im going to see if he can make me one, shoulkdd be cheaper than the powerflow one, stainless steel too!!
I think I got it. :D turns out the flanges are if you are making your own pipes.
The bottom nipple goes to boost, the top one vent to air.
The valve seat , the flat surface faces down and the groove faces up. :D
You will need the kf15 ecu, je50 vaf which u have. Thise engines are very low milleage. Better than the k8.
Also.. i tought some european mx3s came with the kf.
There are two versions.. one has round runners , other has square.
does it happen when the engines cold??
http://www.uk-mx3.com//forum/viewtopic.php?t=669
it may be the coil on the way out, usually if the coils on the way out it'll work okish when the engines cold, and when its warm the coil struggles to produce a stron enough spark, the higher the RPM the weaker the spark gets due to it having to produce the spark more regularly :?
:lol: Im not, i was just asking if it affects performance much, doing the front gasket is no problem as its right in front of you, its the rear one thats causing me laziness syndrome :(
@c82b8852f0:
If you don't have a Japanese Import KLZE engine, then please don't bid on this because it won't work with the normal KLDE engine setup.
quoted from an ebay sale of a chipped ze ECU

Maybe, the easy way to find out is to take the car for the MOT, if it fails on the cat/emissions then put the cat back on and take it for its free retest :wink:
I installed the new mazdaspeed mounts and existing driveshafts and had no problems as the original driveshafts have 152k on them now and still hold up to the ze torque.
Not sure what problem could be, new for old driveshafts identical? Must be a problem with something not lined up.
keep us posted.
Interested so see what you think of the ze against 1.8, not many that can compare in the UK.
I can't remember where i saw it..maybe someone can help? :?
im sure it was on a group buy of these?
the ones in "discussion" were from china, so the quality of them weren't too bright
but another note that was made is the original one is designed to work with the engine, as the engine vibrates the original underdrive helps with this by dulling down the vibration making the engine less suseptical to damage, while a lightened one can't dampen this as easy :?
I really can't think of where i found it, otherwise i would give a link, im not saying don't get one because i said so, im hoping someone can enlighten you more than i can and give a more detailed respone :?
Edit, i just looked on google, this bloke explains it better than me :lol:

I always heard they were a waste of time but seeing that noone in here has said anything bad about them, wouldnt mind looking into and learning what they are about.
@d8c572490c:
It's basically a "lower gear" for your belt accessories. They won't spin as fast, but they'll still perform fine, and the "lower gear" effect frees up as much as 10 or so hp. Sort of like the difference in nailing the throttle in 1st, and nailing it in 6th, though not that extreme.
Dampening is the action of controlling harmful engine vibrations, usually with a soft or fluid mass that will absorb those harmonic vibrations.
If you have a piece of steel bar sitting around, pick it up and hit it with a hammer. It'll ring like crazy till you grab hold if it. That same ringing will tear an engine apart if left unchecked. Thus, the crank pulley doubles as a harmonic dampener, much like your hand grabbing that ringing piece of steel
