  Thanks for the tip. I've worked it out, it's so simple … a corner of the codealarm sticker had come up and was dragging the whole rubber seal down. Fixed

  I've changed my mind on 15"! 17" suits the car. I'm in no rush I'm just keeping an eye on ebay alloys and on here aswell for some nice ones to turn up, and yours are.

  @eafd04513e=youdirtyfox: @eafd04513e=RustyMx3: Easiest and safest (and best) bonnet mod is spacing the bolts on the hinges and raising the trailing edge of the bonnet, lets heat escape and looks JDM cool as fudge :wink: JDM as in Ford Escort JDM :wink: For some reason I don't really like the way that looks on an MX. I do like the Neon SRT hood scoop and the FNF Supra cutouts, I dont think I would do it to my car though.

  The main problem being the headlight reflector design is not great to start with because of its shape! Seen a few post on here were people have fitted road illegal 100W bulbs for them not to make that much of a difference and its inevitiable the wiring will get alot hotter as its drawing more current… I personally don't think its worth the risk of getting pulled or setting fire to your motor!

  that does look pretty cool. if it was me i'd merge the two stripes together slightly flicking upwards at the rear end. not bad for a mock up though. i do love your car

  Rattling interior is a bastid! You could remove all the trim and reassemble using plenty of double sided foam pads or rubber washers to act as a gasket and maybe add some sound deadening carpet underlay behind them?!

  @91a972c2c4=Aarontietje: I have always liked the feed style RX7 side skirts. I think they would go well with your plastic nose splitter. Do love them aswell! they are the right length it would seem , but the contour underneath is completely different so it would be more work to make a 200 quid set of skirts fit! Nose splitter is deceased Bro took a hit on a speed bump and shattered the corner right off :( will make another though :D

  When i dismantled them I first used a hairdryer but it wasn't hot enough and the lens started to crack. Then I put the other one in the oven and it got too hot and deformed a bit. Very fiddly job.
