rats look good with a crazy drop( cut springs) and widen steelys…just a thought :)

Way ahead of you bud, I've been into the Rat scene since 2008 so I know the score, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a decent set of steelies for this thing at the moment though!

    you're not trying hard enough:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2008-Toyota-Yaris-Steel-Wheel-Tyre-/330543618323

Same PCD, same bore, 15x5.5J, ET39. Fit straight on. Set of 205/55R15s will look nice and fat on them and is inside the tyre spec for rim size.

    Snap to it!

  • @eda3bade43=nightstalker:

Just found an epic picture of how it should be done when I have the 206 back in my grubby little paws

Bit of a hazard not having any rear lights

  • @81ba9adb8f=HammyGlos:

Yeah, I think I'll not be going all the way smoothed out like.

Yeah but I just got some for £20 and close to me

  • The Bonrat is under way, it's not being as easy as I anticipated to be honest though, as well as the factory paint, I had done a couple of coats of matt black (with primer) and then a couple of coats of satin black(also with primer).

So, here's how it is looking right now

    I actually quite like it.

I'm preparing for a photoshoot on the weekend involving fire

  • You've been watching too much top gear! You need some naked ladies with the fire

  • @f4b8a96420=mx3gulf:

Lol. I could try and enroll some alcoholics?

  • I think you should raffle off the seperate body parts and invite people to send you spray cans of paint for their chosen panel

Spray cans, paint brushes, rollers. Whatever anyone wants. My preferred method is a rotary sander and salt

  • PM me your address as I have a can of spray you can have for free 8)

  • Ghetto axe inflicted bonnet vents?

  • @e56afd1c09=youdirtyfox:

    Ghetto axe inflicted bonnet vents?

It was only when I was sanding the bonnet I was thinking this also

  • So then my pumpkins, the bonnet is back on and finished(ish).

And just to let the un knowing folk of the real world

It was put to me that the hazard tape would look better below the doors across the sills, so I took it off and put some new on

    (looks better)

I found myself an old viper stripe in my loft and cut it up and made a mask for the sunroof

    Step 1:

    Step 2:

    Step 3:

    Step 4:

Little bit of overspray, but hell, who cares

This thing is turning out to be right laugh and I'll say it's the most fun I've had modifying this car. Peoples reactions are priceless, people nearly breaking their necks doing double takes, oncoming drivers baffled or in hysterics and best of all, when I park up at work, no-one wants to park anywhere near me so I get a little bit of carpark all to myself

The alloys will be coming off this weekend and being replaced with some fetching steel wheels that will be given a nice coat of red to match the wing and roof.

  • Holy shoot!

Hahaha brilliant mate, very creative too.

  • @5fa9fac963=youdirtyfox:

Hehe, cheers Foxy  I'm thinking of chequering the spoiler and wing mirrors to match the sunroof, may be a little trickier than the nice flattish big squarish bit of roof but, I think it will go well.

Picking up some steels tomorrow and gonna spray them red and possibly white wall the tyres (might even red wall them?).

  • if you cut the vinyl into squares prior to putting them on the mirrors that should make it easier than covering with a single piece of wrap

If you want some white wall/red wall paint, give me an address, bought both from ebay a few weeks ago, its no good for lettering as it just cracks off but it might be ok for a solid line, red didnt crack off, infact it was tacky to the touch for several days, if you dont want cracking, then I can get you some proper stuff, aint cheap though

  • Wanna see my new install? Well tough, I'm putting it up!

First of all I lined my boot with a lovely pimp assed dirty brown furry rug

Then I wired in my new speakers
And for the left we have….

and for the right we have….

(yesss, they do work too  )

    Umm, shopping list

And the wheels, I failed, they don't fit and I had already sprayed them

    But here they are anyway

Stuck them back on ebay (even though the guy said they would fit, my fault though, should have checked before spraying them).

Oh well, sorry Jay (both of you) back to the drawing board.

  • what you need is 4 space savers!

  • @2ea6884814=Jesta:

what you need is 4 space savers!

Don't think that would work bud, my standard (MAZDA!) space saver scrapes my front brakes anyway (good work Mazda, no, really, really good work).
