-
Hello all,
I'm not going to go into the complete details of my mx-3's as they can be found in my write ups in the US forums (links below as well as in my signature).

Racing Thread Pics/Videos: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?t=69477I will be providing updates in the title depending on which car I'm working on, linking back to the post on the MX-3.com forums that way you can keep up with my work and I only have to update one forum…
Below is a full list of everything done to both my 1992 Mazda MX-3 GS:

but of course I would love to paint them but as they sit outside every day I don't want them getting faded and such. So until I have a house with a garage I will not paint them. Plus keeping the primer maintained is cheap and easy.
Hey Marco are there any MX-3 parts that are only in Ireland I should be looking for?? :D
-
haha interesting theory. Both my MX-3s are from England :o One I bought here, and my new project one I flew to Newcastle in England and got the boat back from Scotland with!
In short. No :P I don't think there's anything special about N/S Ireland ones, just UK spec.

What skirts are these other than the best?!
@b3265f44ec:eunos presso side skirts,
?
-
Mooneggs in the first photo what headlights are on the car on the left?
never seen them before, where can i get them?
-
I'm not mooneggs but I'll tell you now they're honda civic aftermarket lights chopped up with a dremel to fit! There's even guides how to do it on mx-3.com forums
-
yes indeed 01-03 civic projectors… bought mine on ebay for $135 shipped... then spent 14 hours fitting them (because I had no skill then)... anyways I've just taken those lights out and put in some RHD glass headlights modified with leveling motors :D
-
so your not useing the projecters any more ?
-
nope - and sorry they are not for sale as of yet… I want to hold onto the pattern in case I decide to make another set
-
I realized I had not updated this since Feb 08 so I just updated first post…
click on the link if you want the whole story but I just finished a klze swap + a bunch of other goodies in this car! I'm preparing it for autocross/roadracing next year!
should be receiving my CF hatch shortly and we will be fitting it with lexan plastic!
-
i really like mooneggs mx3 :) good work mate. keep me updated.
-
must be time for an update mr mooneggs lol!, had a look at your project page on mx3.com and some very nice mods you have made recently, especially in the bush swap.
-
I changed the first post in this topic to be more generic, representing both of my projects.
From now on I'll be updating the title thread and then linking to my post on mx-3.com so it's easier for me and you can know what's going on… feel free to post up in this thread with your comments though!
Went to an SCCA National Tour event on 7/16-17 pics and vids: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=588624#p588624
Installed Ksports and working on new brakes today on the DD: http://www.mx-3.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=588610#p588610

Wow. looks like a lot of fun you're havin over there.
-
How you getting on with the k sports? When I installed mine on my track car, I had problems with the rear springs rubbing the inside of the rear tyres, I had to buy smaller rear springs to get the tyres to clear
-
just had a browse through the your log mate, Loving the wheels, you cant beat a set of mazdaspeed rims. I have rays/mazdaspeed ms-03's on mine and really like them. looks good in matt black too. cant wait to see those rims fitted
-
Hey Gulf, I am running 205/50/15 and I don't even have space for my fingers in between the tire and spring but they fit! I can't go any larger without adding spacers or a different offset of a rim… I'll probably also have to roll my fenders.
Daniel, I saw your MS-03's... looking good! I can't wait to get the MS-01R - I decided on those since they are 15x7... and the MS-01 made for the mx-3 were only 15x6.5. These are going to hopefully be fitted with some Kumho V710 for some serious autocross grip!

pics of the new brakes as well as some JDM goodies for my MS steering wheel :D

Re-primed the DD… wasn't my best but it will have to do:
