im back and still got the ze :D after carefully consideration and the mrs saying i could keep it :D

well after 3 years of poor maitenance on my behalf and very very spirited driving the engine has decided to blow its head gaskets ( hopefully just the headgaskets and not cracked the block or heads) so the green machine will be off the road now for the next 6-12 month while i go through the pain staking process of rebuilding the whole engine. with me luck :(

Unlucky. I've a spare 2.5 bottom end I'd sell for cheap if that's what's wrong.
Rebuilding is not that pain staking! It's fun! Buying all the parts is the painful bit. Once you get the parts it will not take you long.

totaly true when you re bulid it you can clen it all down and make it shiny and new like ours

- I've heard that the 1.6 16v 323 is the same engine(?) so have been looking for CAI's for them.

I just got an induction kit the same for a V6 for £12 from ebay

right i got a right busy week next sunday. just ordered servicing parts for the black mx-3 plugs leads brake pads etc. but i also am gonna start draining all the fluids out the green mx-3 ready for the engine to come out. will post up some pics of the green mx-3 and black mx-3 since its been ages sine i updated this page properly

yo man just a big thanks for the weekend ur a legend man. seriously i would have been lost without you and hope u get the seats sorted for jap fest will set the car off. like i say ill pop down and see u. and i might even get u to come up to give us a hand :D if u dont mind when it comes to getting the engine back in :) thanks for ur help james and hope engine is as good to u as it was to me.

as i say np man lot of hard work but there were some fin bits along the way but thank you for the seats
