Not sure on what to do, car is going fine and is taxed, mot'd and insured until next july, so i might use it as a weekend/track/fun car or sell it!!
I was totally oblivious to some of the scenery and roads in Ireland and this was a complete eye opener!! although the roads through Kilarney National Park have to be the best!!

ksports leak over prolonged track use, besides a set of decent pads and discs and the fluid you have and a decent caliper refurb and you'll be laughing mate
I have three new calipers and the other is a refurb, so I should consider myself laughing!!

Source?? nothing wrong with mine
I agree. I spent AGES researching online when I bought mine and no-one mentioned the KSports leaking over time.
yeah i love the k&n as well. used to have one on my mondeo and just made it run alot smoother than the cone filter i had before which is now on the mazda. but the cone filter performs better than the stock air filter and sounds alot better too. gives it a meaty sound
Decided I'm sticking with MX-3's for the forseeable future, but for the money I'd put into doing up the bodywork on this and a few other little things I could just buy another clean MX-3, so that's the plan – find a clean black one within the next few months and transfer all my parts from this one over to it.
Also, from the Eunos Presso I found in the scrapyard a few days ago I nabbed a set of decent shocks with -35/40mm lowering springs. Fitted the rear ones yesterday just for a quick look, and dammnnn, a bit off the ride height really transforms the looks! 8)

What everyone really wants to know is "where did you get the Cusco rear brace from?" 8)
I have buy my rear CUSCO with a garage in France "W-autosport". If you want this part, you can contact Nick from SURUGA PERFORMANCE, he leave in Japan and he can had this part.
**And my box arrived from the spring shop:
Hurr, hurr, hurr, hurr, purple, hurr, hurr :D
Momma like. For reference, they're -35mm (preloaded - they won't settle-in), 55N/mm front and 35N/mm non-progressive rear. Stock is 21N/mm front and 15N/mm with 10N/mm progressive rear.
The new rears are shorter than the stock fronts :D**
@e2aaeac7d6=djmarcopolo:
Dont be afraid either changing springs on these takes about 2hrs, they are very easy
Or 2 days if your car is anything like mine

I had the joy of learning how to drive stick on a 4 cylinder mx3. It ruined me. The takeoff and general fun of driving isn't comparable when it comes to stick vs auto.
im the same but the other way round lol i use to drive the 4 cylinder auto but glad to be back with stick shift
It looks a little odd right now as I'm working on smaller chunks, the finished product will be made up on a single sheet, going over the entire floor, right up to the spare wheel well.
only just seen this thread. was trying to find the nearest other 1.6. i really like what you've done. red and black works well. glad you removed the rim tape. Is this project still going?
