I'd be more than happy to help in any way.
I have my own website for speedway and have run forums before.
I have been involved with the internet since the mid-90's and for a time was a professional web designer.
My daughter also runs/owns peugeot-cc.com with over 2,300 members.
Being retired I also have spare time. :D
And, of course I do have an mx-3. :D:D
Up to you guys.
Hope you are now well, Daryl. It's not funny rolling a car - been there done that!!
Last shout for this if anyone is interested?
Meeting places are the layby on the A6 just off J24 M1 at 9am Sunday or at the location around 9.30am
Postcode is LE12 8RB, Farley Way, Quorn.
You want to take the track turning after the football ground if you are not coming til later.
Should have around 15 turning up, proper mixed bag.
See you there!!
FWD drive with this power is not a problem, you can get to 270BHP no problem, and with a proper suspension setup 300+
I know this because im into my novas  and you can drop a calibra turbo engine straight into it that runs 200BHP standard and are tunable to around 400BHP.
by the way, the civic will be faster, the mx3 may have more power (maybe?) but the civic will have the weight advantage and torque advantage
Hi Jay,
I'm alright for parts right now, I'll probably not be for long though. If I need anything I'll PM ya.
TT Supra. Lovely. If only I had the money….
there isn't much to go wrong, the only thing i can think of is check the exhaust for rust where the backbox bolts onto the centre section, rusty on the sills, and make sure all the electronics are in good working order
@e7f1d67ef6=kami_no_michi:
if im not mistaken dont uneed driveshafts and a better gearbox for the bp?
Only if you run 200hp +, the mx gearbox should stand up to a n/a bp same goes for drive shafts.
Sounds like a bearing to me, but its easy to tell if its a waterpump and rule that out.
Just pop the bonnet and revvvv it, if you don't hear the same noise then its probably a bearing. If you really want to make sure use an engine stethiscope.
Buy a new bearing and get it fitted £80+
Buy new bearing and fit it yourself £35 plus some mechanical skills
Buy a second hand hub from a local scrapyard for £20-£30 and basic mechanical skills.
First options the best if you can afford it.
misterg,im trying to talk him round to KLZE his mx3, ill even do it
of course, as its me doing it, it won't be a completely standard klze :) Boost anyone :D
respect to this guy, and his wood strutcture will be very strong as its got strengthening in all the right places.
just shows if u aint got a engine crane! make one.
Will do, im getting my giddy head on now as i cant drive it until the log book comes, my brother in law lost the tax reminder…so i cant tax it yet, oh well at least i can rely on my trusty rusty skoda..in the mean time apart from the usual exhaust and induction kit mods, im thinking of ways to tart the interior up if anyone has some suggestions, on an old car i had, a 306 i built a tom tom into the dash, so im thinking of doing the same with the mazda.
