yeah i've been onto the manufacture and projectors are very noticable now i could be wrong and that you can really adjust the arse out of them but i dunno!!
I've decided that I an going to trim my spoiler ends and blend it with the new spoiler, if it works it should look good, I have seen other MX3's that appear to have done the same. If it doesn't look so good I'll just keep my eye's peeled for a garnish. You know what it's like, like the number 11 bus, none for ages then 3 come along all at once :P
Tell me about it,
I'm looking at Torch red or white at the moment :)
But not sure if they do "all" of the trim or just the large parts,
can't see the door trim or the roof.
I'll chuck em an E-mail in a bit.

That looks really cool, may have to copy your idea then :P
Have to admit, it ain't my idea, as said the Honda guys have been doing it for years, simple cheap and effective mod 8)
I must admit I'm turning towards these lights….... (despite my sig)

Strip for sure, unless it's the same colour I think it looks cheap! Plus I'd want my engine bay to look beautiful as much as the outside.
mx3gulf… so 1k for a full respray to perfection?
Thats just the outside, same colour, yes! Not a full strip down, also not including any major repairs to bodywork.
Like I said you get what you pay for, a full on mental respray, car stripped completely, you could go anything from 2k upwards
@629a80c8df=ukmx3admin:
Yeah love those dashes, but left hand drive only!!
Looks strange without the splitter on and only one part of the side skirts though.
:D Mine only has the front half of the side skirts on it for some reason….

Remember if you buy that one you need to buy the plastic cover from somewhere to cover the holes and joints from where the old standard spoiler was fitted, look in the pic its not part of it.

There are plenty matt balck cars around, I get the matt black audi A3 at my work a lot that they use to do all the filming for top gear.
Get a bit creative and make it a one off, that also increases value like
TRY
mask a straight line down the sides the same level as the bumpers paint the bumpers and below the line gloss black - get creative and add a strange colour mettalic flake to that like yellow to make it stand out.
Then have a tribal design or maybe a checker pattern or even a huge mx-3 or mazdaspeed logo made at a sign writers stick that over the sides over the gloss paint then spray matt black, when dry remove the vinyl and sand any edges with 1200 grit to smooth that would look sick
OR
an unusual idea is find some patterened net curtain, use some thin spray glue and glue the curtain down the side then spray over the curtain and remove then the pattern will stay down the side
A one off paint job would not always add value, as you are painting car to your taste not others, check my car out for a 'one off'

Didnt work very well on J-Spec lenses….
i melted a corner....
also, they now look very "Golden Brown", but cool :D
Umm, what were they, flame throwers?
checked it every other minute or so, but then made some curry, started eating that and forgot i left them in the oven
so about 30 mins at 150 celcius, and you get that effect.
(i know you put 10 mins at 250, but dont have alot of space in my oven, touched a side. Hence the melting.)
the point it melted is hardly noticeable anyway, just one of those things that i'll notice and will niggle me, but not to someone else, If that makes sense!
There are basically 3 variations of mx-3 OEM headlamps for all 91-98 mx-3's:
H4 bulb type + plastic lense (LHD and RHD variations)
H4 bulb type + glass lense (LHD and RHD variations)
9004 bulb type + plastic lense (US and Canada spec)
there are also 2 different types of interior colors on the H4 style headlamps: chrome/silver or matte gray/white looking
sometimes people also paint the H4 interior housings (as I have done with black) but the 9004 housings cannot be painted inside.
JUST FOUND A BRAND NEW PAIR OF THESE DIRECT FROM TOKYO JAPAN
BIT PRICEY THOUGH

you should try having a blowout on a bike. thats more fun.
The guy whom i bought my bike from told me he had replaced the rear wheel bearings, so i went out for a jolly only to find he had left the main tube through the rear wheel out. So both wheel bearings collapsed leaving the rear wheel floating on the rear bolt.
I shit a brick..
i bet you did. was it the spacer he left out?
